Rules And Regulations
  • JNTUH CEM Campus Students must show their Identity Card at the Main Entrance of the College Library. Students without Identity Card are not allowed inside the Library.
  • Every member must sign the Register (Login & Logout) available at the entrance.
  • Printed material / Outside books/ reading material/Mobile/Cell phones/valuable items, etc. are NOT ALLOWED inside the College Library.
  • All the students are advised to keep their personal belongings, such as brief cases, bags, umbrellas, etc, books not belonging to the College Library and books though borrowed from the library but not meant to be returned to the library, shall be deposited at the Property Counter at the entrance to the library. It is advisable not to bring valuable things to the library and deposit them at the Property Counter.
  • Do not use pen & pencil inside the text book.
  • Students must come, on or before Due date. If due date is finished, then students have to return the Textbook.
  • An overdue charge of Rs. 1/-  per day per volume will be collected for returning the books after the due date borrowed by them
  • Absence and illness are not acceptable excuses for exemption from paying overdue charges
  • In case a book is lost, the borrower should pay double the cost of the book..
  • The College Library does not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of items/ valuable items ie., (Cash, Gold ornaments, Laptops, Calculator, Digital diary, Mobile phone, credit card, etc.) inside their bags kept at Property Counter or inside the College Library.
  •  Smoking/ sleeping/ using cell phones/ indulging in discussions/ any other activity detrimental to academics is strictly prohibited.
  • Newspapers and magazines must be read only in the Library on specific tables and should not be taken to any other reading areas.
  • Strict silence is enjoined inside the Library, as it is necessary for quiet study.           
  • Photo identity card is not transferable.
  • The Member should present his/her library card for borrowing books,  failing which the library staff can refuse to issue books to him/her.
  • Transfer of Books is not permissible between borrowers
  • Loss of Borrower cards should be reported immediately to the librarian and duplicate card will be issued on payment.
  • Borrowers should personally borrow books at Circulation Counter
  • Users are cautioned not to throw any litter in the centre.
  • Users are advised not to misplace books on the racks from their original position
  • Web OPAC is also provided.
