About the Event
The Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 was organized on 25th September 2025 at JNTUH University College of Engineering, Manthani. The event aimed to identify innovative solutions from students across various domains including Health care, Agriculture, Education, AI/ML, and Sustainability. The shortlisted teams will represent the institute at the national level hackathon.
The event's success was a testament to the collaborative spirit and meticulous planning of the organizing committee. At the helm was Prof. B. Vishnu Vardhan, the esteemed Principal of JNTUHUCEM, who served as the Chairman of the hackathon. His leadership was complemented by the dedicated efforts of Sri. M. Uday Kumar, the Vice-Principal, who took on the dual role of Co- Chairman and Convener. The seamless execution of the event was largely due to the tireless coordination of Sri. Narahari Ajmeera, who served as the Co-Ordinator and Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
A panel of distinguished Jury Members had the challenging task of evaluating the projects. The esteemed panel included Mr. Mr. G. Sridhar Assistant Professor in CSE, N. Vamshi Krishna Assistant Professor in CSE, Mr. G. Sai Deekshith Assistant Professor in CE, and Mr. S. Shiva Krishna Assistant Professor in ME. They meticulously assessed the innovative projects, focusing on originality, technical feasibility, and real-world applicability. The projects spanned critical domains that are shaping the future of technology and society, including Healthcare, Agriculture, Education, AI/ML, and Sustainability.
The students' energy and creativity were palpable throughout the day. Teams worked tirelessly to develop prototypes and present their solutions to the jury. The hackathon provided a dynamic environment for students to transform their theoretical knowledge into practical, problem-solving applications. The projects showcased a deep understanding of complex issues and a passion for creating a positive impact. The event's success was also driven by the enthusiastic support of the Student Co-Ordinators, Ms. B. Sanjana, Mr. G. Devendra chary, and Mr.G.Raju. Their dedication ensured the smooth flow of the event, from participant registration to logistical support.
The hackathon under scored JNTUHUCEM's commitment to nurturing problem- solvers and future leaders who are ready to tackle real-world challenges with innovative and sustainable solutions.

A total of 21 teams comprising 126 students participated in the internal hackathon. Students showcased innovative ideas in fields such as Agri Tech, Health Tech, Smart Education, Green Energy, and AI-driven solutions. The female participants are 53 and male are 73.
