• Obtain variation of temperature along the length of the pin fin under forced and free convection
• Perform radiation experiments: Determine surface emissivity of a test plate and Stefan Boltzmann’s constant and compare with theoretical value.

Students are able to understand principles involved in the measurement and control of industrial processes. In particular, students will be able to learn

• Learn about the Temperature sensors (Thermocouples, RTD’s, Thermistors, etc.)
• Aware of Pneumatic and hydraulic pressure concepts
• Balance the reciprocating masses.

• To provide a knowledge on the basics of control system theory
